Since 2001, FACES, a student-led international organization based at Stanford University, has worked tirelessly to facilitate intellectual, academic, and interpersonal exchange on both sides of the Pacific. Chief among our efforts is our Annual Summit, a selective educational program which brings together forty students from across the globe to learn from leading thinkers, participate in sophisticated foreign policy simulations, and engage in robust cross-cultural dialogue with their diverse peers. Considered "the preeminent student-run group dedicated to bettering U.S.-China understanding," FACES has earned praise from the President of Yale University, U.S. Ambassador to China, Chinese Foreign Minister, and U.S. Secretary of State for its extraordinary ability to spark meaningful dialogue and develop the leaders of tomorrow. Among past speakers at the FACES Annual Summit are former U.S. President George H.W. Bush, former U.K. Prime Minister John Major, former Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi, and former U.S. Secretary of Defense William Perry.

Through its sixteen years of success, FACES has depended on the generous support of its supporters. Without the help of private donors, FACES would not be able to continue its programs in service of its mission to "inspire and empower a new generation ... to take the building of the U.S.-China relationship as their lifelong endeavor." FACES is a student-run organization with little overhead and rigorous monitoring of expenditure to fulfill our mission with minimum waste and maximum outcomes. Nearly half of our Summit expenditure is allocated for financial aid to delegates who otherwise would not be able to attend. Over 93 percent of our budget is dedicated to programming. And in our continuing search for efficiencies, we have reduced expenditure on our Annual Summit by 35 percent in two years.

As FACES relies on the generosity of individuals like you to continue our work in service of our mission, we request that you consider becoming a FACES Donor. By contributing to FACES, you play a vital role in ensuring that our programs in the U.S. and China continue to advance intellectual, academic, and interpersonal exchange among the generation that will be shaping the global landscape in the decades to come. Donors, in addition, will be provided with regular updates on FACES programs through our Newsletter, and gain access to exclusive opportunities to connect with and mentor some of the global leaders of the future.

We thank you in advance for your support and for your interest in FACES.
