Mei Gechlik, Professor at the Stanford Law School, talked about her inspiring career dedicated to making positive social impact. Unsatisfied with a life in the Ivory Tower, Gechlik has embarked on numerous initiatives that aim to address concrete legal and governance issues in Mainland China. She described how she started the China Guiding Cases Project, which seeks to introduce high-stake rulings from the People's Supreme Court to the western world. Through a serendipitous opportunity, Gechlik founded Good Governance International. The organization worked with the Chinese government to promote E-Governance capacity.
